Dr. Bryant is the CEO/Director and owner of Psychological Health Consultants and Services, LLC (PHCS, LLC). At PHCS we are focused on providing quality psychological services with the highest levels of customer/client satisfaction & we will do everything we can to meet your expectations of quality care. She holds a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University, Phoenix, AZ and a Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University, Orange California, holds a License in Mental Health Counseling, is a Certified Life Coach and a Certification Clinical Trauma Professional.
She is a clinical member of the American Mental Health Counselor Association (AMHCA); was nominated and was a member of the International Association of Healthcare Professionals and recognized as a World Leader in Healthcare and top Mental Health Counselor in Tacoma, WA.
Dr. Bryant is a United States Army Veteran, former Senior Leader who also served as a First Sergeant and trained as a Military Sexual Assault Advocate. She is well versed in the military community, culture and has worked with Service members and their families with various needs including her own Soldiers who she mentored and trained to succeed in various levels of Military Leadership. This makes the additional Certification in Life Coaching an easy transition and a return to my first love of training and leading current and future leaders in all aspects of their life transitions.
Her experiences include non-clinical counseling during her military service. She has assisted Soldiers and their families with personal, family, career, education, mentorship and military issues. She has served as a Family Preservation Service (FPS) Provider and Marriage and Family Therapist. She has worked with families whose cases were referred from the Department of Social and Health Services; Children's Administration. She has also worked with Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare and served as a Care Coordinator and Behavior Health Specialist for the Disability Lifeline formerly known as the General Assistance for the Unemployable (GAU) program in the Community Health Clinics of Pierce County. She coordinated with Primary Care Providers, Med Providers and Psychiatrists for the total care of clients.
My most recent position was Regional Director of the Psychological Health Outreach Program for the Northwest Region for the Marine Forces Reserves at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA; providing Marine Reservist with needs assessments, referrals and case management and collaborate with Military Leadership to ensure that Reserve Units maintain mission readiness and that Service Members and their families are able to connect with military and civilian resources available to them.
Dr. Bryant is currently developing a program for women focused on building self-esteem, understanding their value, and rebuilding their lives after events in life have happened especially abuse. Helping women to leave their past and use it to build their future, be an example for other women that need role models and proof that they are not alone especially after the traumas of life have happened. The goal is to reduce recidivism through psycho-educational, build resiliency, create a sense of wholeness, increase self-esteem and recognizing their value. Another goal is to involve the community to help women get back on their feet, be successful, autonomous and "Great!" Her first book focused on Narcissist Abuse, is due to be released before the end of 2018.
Dr. Bryant considers herself an eclectic therapist with a sense of humor who draws from various theories and models of therapeutic approaches. She believes one size does not fit all. Some approaches she draws from are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Family Systems Theories, Solution Focused, Brief Solution Focused as well as Behavior Activation techniques. She uses the client center approach and uses resources and support systems available for the client. She also assists with providing resources and connecting clients to community resources.
Dr. Bryant is willing and encourages collaboration between professionals such as Med Providers, Psychiatrists and Primary Care Providers (PCPs) to ensure clients receive the best care possible.

Dr. Bryant volunteers her time and often speaks at annual events in support of advocating for mental health and encouraging women who have experienced domestic violence for the YWCA in the King County area.
